Mary Kay Murphy Announces Plans to Seek Re-election to Gwinnett County School Board – Gwinnett Daily Post, Jan. 31, 2020
To further understanding and collaboration with community members, I have worked to build civic capacity in support of public education. I have written columns to provide insight into District 3 education programs in the following publications:

- Duluth Patch
- Suwanee Patch
I have advanced open communication with District 3 through my leadership in state-wide and national organizations that focus on student academic achievement and community economic development.
